National Make a Difference Day

UVU Make A Difference Day - Saturday, October 27, 2012 

We need 500 volunteers! 

Participate in service projects and help make a difference in your community!

Time: 8am - 12pm

Location: Meet at: 400 West 400 North (Park by Orem Hospital) Check-in to sign waivers before separating. 
Receive: Light breakfast provided at 8:00. 

Give: Manual labor for the benefit of others.

There are 16 several different projects, including:

   Making name tags for Primary Children Hospital,

   Painting fire hydrants all throughout Orem,

   Utah Food Bank,

   Habitat for Humanity, 

   Orem and Provo Parks Cleanup, 

   Cemetery repair and cleanup,

   Kids on the Move,

   Adopt a Highway.

The UV Mentors, a resource within University College, and UVU’s Volunteer and Service Learning Center are sponsoring this event.  Anyone is invited to participate, even if you are not a UVU student!
